About Me

ALEX KORN: I am 21 years old, will be a Senior in college in the Fall of 2022 and attend UC-Santa Barbara. I also have a twin brother! I AM A GUITARIST! I am in a funk/hip-hop band, "What It Is", and Indie Pop band "Lemon Generation". I was in the Jazz Band (and Honors Ensembles) in high school, and I was also in the School of Rock West Los Angeles House Band for 6 years and was selected as a School of Rock USA All-Star in 2017, 2018 & 2019. I have performed in shows at many different venues (including at NAMM, Lollapalooza, The Knitting Factory, World Cafe Live, The Grog Shop, Hoosier Dome, Schubba's Tavern, The Whiskey A-Go-Go, The Troubadour, The Mint, Universal City Walk, The Fonda Theater, The Masquerade and more). Playing at the famous 4-day music festival "Lollapalooza" in Chicago in 2017 & 2018 summers was amazing! I've also been honored to play with Dweezil Zappa, "Hero the Band", the "Band of Merry Makers" (including Mark McGrath from the band "Sugar Ray" and Lisa Loeb) and the "The Main Squeeze")! I also get straight As! And I am majoring in Physics and minoring in Music!
